Building Responsible Citizens for a Better Tomorrow
I believe that success follows those who follow their heart, however the environment around us isn’t always suited for nurturing our passions, keeping individuals from realizing their true potential. The focus at DHURVI is to offer 360º developments to students, giving them a nurturing environment with sufficient exposure. With the power of 7, constantly being imbibed in academics, sports, extra-curricular and within the dorms, we ensure that the students imbibe these essential 7 qualities, which not only help students realize their passion but equip them to achieving it in an efficient and ethical manner. The 7 qualities are:-
Self-mastery ensures that one has clarity and focus. It outlines what is important to an individual and ranks it according to personal and professional priority.
Success is not defined by the name and fame earned but by the path a person follows, the morals and values one stands by. Making ethical choices is not always as easy, yet of utmost importance as a leader.
The future is always undetermined, adverse changes are constantly taking place around us and for survival and excellence one must adapt to these changing times. However as creatures controlled by the mind, we tend to fear change.
Choices are placed in front of us every moment of the day, some smaller than the others. However choosing the correct course of action in accordance to our environment and other situations is an essential skill not only for leaders, but for every individual who wants to succeed.
Empathetic people are skilled in placing themselves in the shoes of other people and seeing their perspective. It is one of the main components of emotional intelligence.
Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present. Research has shown that an attitude of gratitude makes people more positive and resilient. Additionally it strengthens relationships, allowing people to build stronger bonds.
Mishaps are always taking place, what makes the difference is how one addresses and endures these hardships. Success is correlated with optimism. Optimism is important for accomplishing goals, as it is the foundation of courage, confidence and true progress.
Being a Learner, I have realized the true value of lessons learnt outside the bounds of a classroom. At DHURVI we go beyond and ensure that our students get the best of indoor and outdoor training, moulding them to think critically, synthesize knowledge and reflect on their own thought processes.
Through this we ensure that our students excel not only within the education system but in the real world as well, allowing our students to “Arise, Awake, and Ascend”
